Family-run sweet shop founded in 1951 selling traditional chocolates and pastries. They are famous for their kanafeh which is a traditional Middle Eastern dissert made of fine semolina dough, a layer of cheese and sugar-based syrup.
Al-Haj Mahmoud Habibah left Nablus in 1947 and started his job at a small Kunafa shop in Jerusalem. One year later, he moved to Amman. Since then he has been gracefully offering his sweets to both locals and visitors who queue all the way around the block waiting for their sweet treat.
