<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Day 1: Arrival – Hotel in Madaba</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Pick up and assistance at the Airport.</li> <li>Transfer to your hotel in Madaba.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Day 2: Madaba – Petra</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>After breakfast we depart for Petra, approximately 3 hours driving.</li> <li>In the afternoon we will explore Little Petra, the Siq Barid, we will have a glance at one of the very few preserved Nabatean paintings.</li> <li>Visit Beidha, a Neolithic village about 6.500 years BC and one of the oldest settlements in Middle East beside Jericho.</li> <li>Walking time: 2 to 3 hours.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Day 3-4: Petra</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Two days in the atmosphere of this famous Nabatean city; Petra was registered as a Worldwide Heritage of the UNESCO. Hidden away amidst the folds of spectacular hills, this unique site was lost to the world until it was rediscovered in 1812 by the Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. Much has been written about Petra, nothing really prepares you for this amazing place. It has to be seen to be believed.</li> <li>Walk across siqs (narrow gorges) and canyons to explore hundreds of caves, tombs, temples of any styles and any dimensions carved in the colorful sandstone of the mountains. From some places you will have a breath taking view over this huge city.</li> <li>Walking time: 6 hours.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Day 5-7: Wadi Rum</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>In the morning we drive by minibus towards the desert of Wadi Rum, approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes driving.</li> <li>At arrival the luggage will be transferred by 4x4 Jeep.</li> <li>Then we continue on foot to begin the exploration of the superb reliefs of the sandstone, where the weather and wind have carved the imposing, towering skyscrapers. Big valleys and small canyons, sands in changeable reflections and sometimes you see a Bedouin tent.</li> <li>Go for a walk between arks and high walls which resemble petrified waterfalls.</li> <li>You will meet the Bedouins who will welcome us warmly. You will be fascinated from the cliffs and mountains, turning into pink by the Sun-set.</li> <li>Camping to enjoy the night under the stars.</li> <li>Walking time: 5 to 6 hours per day.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Day 8: Wadi Rum – Aqaba – Amman</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>In the morning we will return to Rum village and then drive to Aqaba, Jordan’s only outlet to the sea.</li> <li>Enjoy your free time swimming, relaxing, shopping or take a trip with the glass-bottom boat at the Red Sea.</li> <li>According to the desire of the group, it would be possible to return earlier to Amman, to see the old city with its colorful Souks or traditional markets.</li> <li>Spend the night in Amman.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Day 9: Amman Airport</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Transfer to Amman Airport for departure.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>End of your Program</p>
